Lucia - FOSTER TO ADOPT OR ADOPTION

Lucia is a beautiful, resilient French Bulldog mix who has been waiting for her forever home for three long years. She's a sweet and loving girl who, despite a traumatic car accident that left her with mobility challenges, maintains a bright spirit and a heart full of love. Lucia uses a wheelchair and may require bladder expression, but these are small parts of who she is. She's happy, playful, and craves connection. Lucia is currently in a home-style boarding environment, but she deserves a family of her own. She has made wonderful progress, including being able to go potty outside, having fewer indoor accidents, and being able to spinal walk with support.

Ideal Home

Lucia would thrive in a stable, calm, and loving home with a compassionate and patient individual or family. She needs someone with the time and dedication to commit to her ongoing care and rehabilitation, including regular bladder expression. While special needs experience is preferred, it's not required for those truly willing to learn and provide Lucia with the support she needs.

Ongoing Health

Lucia is a survivor of a severe car accident and uses a wheelchair for mobility. She may require bladder expression.

Training & Support

Lucia is gaining independence and improving daily with her potty training. She can spinal walk with support and is gaining strength. She needs a patient adopter committed to supporting her continued rehabilitation and providing consistent care.
