Chip

This sweet boy always looks like he just lost his best friend. Meet Chip! Chip is a 10-year-old, overweight Chihuahua who was adopted from us as a puppy. Now, over 9 years later, he is sadly back with us because his owners moved and didn't take him. Chip is a chunky monkey but has lost a bit of weight. He still needs to lose more, but we all know it isn't easy! Chip loves his food a bit too much and can get a bit possessive during feeding, so he needs to be fed in his crate if he has fur-siblings. Chip is not big on being picked up but loves to lay next to you. He is fine with other dogs, and cats are unknown, but we doubt he could catch one! A fenced-in yard is needed as he lives to bask in the sun but will toddle off and never give a glance back!

Ideal Home

Chip would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can safely enjoy the sunshine.

Ongoing Health

Chip is an overweight Chihuahua who is working on losing more weight. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and Heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Chip can be possessive of his food and needs to be fed in his crate if there are other pets in the home. He is not big on being picked up but enjoys being near his people.
