AnnaLee came to us in March of 2021, originally with her sister, guarding a flock of sheep until their owner passed away. She was adopted and continued her work as a livestock guardian, but recently returned to Bluebonnet. Anna is a friendly girl who loves attention but isn't demanding. She has decided to retire from livestock guarding and is ready to live in a home. She could benefit from daily walks, as she's a little overweight, but we're all working on that! Anna gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and genders, though she prefers to keep her distance from puppies. She could live happily with another dog, but doesn't require a canine companion to be happy.

Ideal Home

Anna is looking for a home where she can retire from her working days and enjoy life as a beloved companion. She's a retired livestock guardian who enjoys attention and could benefit from daily walks.

Ongoing Health

Anna recently had her annual check-up with our vet. Her vaccinations are current, and thankfully, her heartworm test was negative.

Training & Support

Anna is house-trained and appears to get along well with other dogs. While she's not a fan of puppies and keeps her distance, she can coexist peacefully with other dogs.
