Bombon

Bombon is a sweet 9-month-old German Shepherd mix, weighing around 33 lbs and standing 16 inches tall. She's a resilient little girl who was rescued in Saltillo, Mexico, after being found alone and scared. Despite her rough start, Bombon is incredibly affectionate and playful once she feels comfortable. She loves to cuddle, go for hikes, and shower her humans with kisses. She's brave, intelligent, and a fast learner, already leash-trained and crate-trained. Bombon also enjoys the company of children and other dogs!

Ideal Home

Bombon would thrive in an active family with a fenced backyard who enjoys hiking and exercise. She'll do best in a home with a strong understanding of the needs of rescued animals and experience with dog training. A family with patience and high tolerance for rescued puppies will be a perfect match.

Ongoing Health

Bombon is spayed, up-to-date on her DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines, and has been dewormed. She tested negative for heartworm and has a clean 4DX test. She is on monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. She has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Bombon is crate-trained and leash-trained, but she is not yet house-trained. Her foster family is working hard to provide the best care for all their rescues, and while house-training each one is a challenge, Bombon is an intelligent and eager learner who will benefit from consistent guidance and patience in her new home.

• We will schedule a phone/email interview after your application is reviewed.
• A home check (virtual or in-person) will be arranged.
• A virtual meet and greet will be organized with you, the foster home, and Bombon.
• If it's a good match, an adoption contract will be provided, and a trial adoption period will commence.

Transportation

Bombon is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is scheduled to travel to the East Coast in January/February 2023. Transportation to your home address on the East Coast is available for an additional fee of $400, paid by the adopter prior to departure.
