Meet Dixon!
This adorable 4-year-old Pit Bull/Staffy mix has the biggest smile, the squishiest little face, and a perfectly potato-shaped body that was clearly designed for cuddling. Dixon looks like he's smiling 24/7, and he has a way of making everyone around him smile too, whether he's getting belly rubs, hanging out with his dog friends, or simply looking at his favorite people. Dixon's favorite hobby is being loved, and his second favorite hobby is loving people right back. He's the kind of dog who leans his whole body into you for pets, happily flops onto the couch beside you, and somehow always finds a way to be touching his humans. This boy would happily spend every evening snuggled up next to you watching movies and pretending he's a lap dog.
Ideal Home
Dixon would love a home with one or two friendly medium-to-large dog friends who enjoy a good play session but also appreciate a nice afternoon nap. He also dreams of a fenced yard where he can run around with his dog friends, roll in the grass, and find the perfect sunny spot for an afternoon nap.
Ongoing Health
Dixon is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes his DAPP vaccine with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also had a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Dixon is described as being incredibly cuddly and appears to be a natural family man, as he has been gentle, sweet, and incredibly loving with young children he has met. He seems happiest when he's included in everyday life.

Dixon is located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue run USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
