Meet Grace! This sweet and bubbly young girl is looking for a fresh start after a challenging beginning. She was rescued as a stray, bravely caring for her puppies under a fallen tree during the hot Texas summer. Thankfully, a kind street dog feeder spotted her and her little ones and brought them to safety. Grace quickly made friends with everyone at the rescue, both two-legged and four-legged, and loves her playtime. She's a big fan of squeaky toys, snuggling with her canine pals, and enjoying some zoomies in the courtyard.
Ideal Home
Grace has a strong herding instinct, similar to her Cattle dog heritage. She adores being around her people and prefers to have them all together. While she's happy to shower everyone with affection, she might try to "herd" anyone who walks away. She would do best in a home with experienced owners who understand herding breeds.

Grace is spayed and fully vaccinated.
Training & Support
Grace is kennel trained and potty trained. She is also dog friendly. We've partnered with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training to offer our adopters a discount: 50% off training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. Transportation
Grace is located in Houston, TX. Out-of-state transport is available. Please note that pick-up locations for transported dogs may vary and could even be in a neighboring state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles. You will be able to track your dog's transport via the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for tracking information.
