Vela

Vela is an incredibly pleasant and good-natured girl with a perfect balance of sassy and sweet! She’s friendly, easy-going, and up for any kind of adventure. At home, Vela is a well-behaved observer, letting her people know of any approaching squirrels without being loud or disruptive. She doesn’t chew things up, is good in her crate overnight and during the day, and is okay with staying home alone. Vela is polite with sharing her food and toys, respects boundaries, and is a good listener. She’s curious and likes to see what everyone is up to but isn’t clingy, striking an ideal blend of velcro dog and independent queen.

Vela is a smart cookie who knows many tricks, including sit, stay, down, off, come, and touch, and she loves to learn. She enjoys puzzle toys and brain games and is always up for a training session. She’s working on staying calm in stimulating environments outside the house and is practicing loose-leash walking, but she’s easily redirected when startled or distracted. Vela loves car rides and is an excellent errand buddy, happily keeping her driver company.
