Buddy is a friendly, energetic 6-year-old Labrador Retriever/Pointer mix who was recently released when his former rescue closed. He gets along well with Rosco, though they do not need to be adopted together. Buddy would thrive in an active home with patient guidance and plenty of engagement.

Ideal Home

Buddy can be adopted by a family with children ages 12 and older. Families with another dog will need to arrange a meet-and-greet at the shelter to confirm compatibility.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is neutered and vaccinated. His adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm and Lyme testing, deworming, and flea and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Buddy would benefit from learning basic commands and a guiding hand in his new home. A free training session with Canine Cooperative is available after adoption.
