Gertie

Gertie is the sweetest little senior girl! At 13 years old and weighing about 30-35 lbs, this lovebug is incredibly sweet and friendly. She's looking for a loving family to spend her golden years with. Gertie was rescued from a Texas shelter and has since made her way to Colorado, where she's been enjoying a fantastic foster home. Now, she's ready to find her forever family! Gertie is great with all dogs, cats, and kids. She enjoys lounging on a soft bed, basking in the sun, is a good traveler in the car, and gives the best snuggles!

Ideal Home

Gertie would love a home where she can relax and be showered with affection. She gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children.

Ongoing Health

Gertie is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by the rescue. This condition is not contagious. She has not yet been spayed, and the veterinary team will assess if this is appropriate for her at her age.

Gertie is house-trained and ready to bring her gentle companionship to your home.
