A little about them

Abby is a sweet, loving dog who has been waiting far too long for her person. Found as a stray during the Spokane fires with badly burned paws, she received care and time to heal. Her paws are now feeling much better, and she is ready for a patient adopter who will give her the chance to show her affectionate side.

Abby can feel overwhelmed in her kennel and may bark when people walk by or when meeting someone new. She needs time to warm up, especially with unfamiliar people, but once she trusts you, she loves attention, pets, and spending time with her people. She has also done well with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Abby would do best in an adult-only home with peace, predictability, and someone willing to be patient as she builds trust. A home without young children will help her feel more comfortable.
