Max

Max is an adorable 2 and a half year old male Bichon Frise. He came to us when his elderly owner could no longer care for him. Sadly, Max was terrified and unsocialized, having spent most of his time indoors. He was briefly adopted but his new family's active lifestyle was too much for him, causing him to act out. We've kept him off the adoption list to decompress and learn his needs to ensure his next placement is his forever home.

Ideal Home

Max thrives in a calm environment with a predictable routine. He needs a home with another outgoing, small, friendly dog to help him continue to build his confidence. We will not place him with families who have small children or grandchildren.

Ongoing Health

Max is neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He will require regular grooming to maintain his coat.

Training & Support

Max has made great progress and has learned "touch" for a treat, sometimes offering his favorite toy instead. He is crate-trained and reliably house-trained.
