Phoenix

Hi there! I'm Phoenix, a handsome and healthy 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix who is looking for a loving foster or forever home. I lost my previous foster home through no fault of my own, and I really miss having people around to snuggle with and take me on walks and other adventures. I was rescued from a shelter a few years ago and was a favorite there. I weigh about 80 lbs, and despite my age, I'm still active and very loving. I'm affectionate, walk well on a leash, and I'm a loyal and sweet dog who will be your best friend for life. I prefer to have my person or people around, which is understandable for most dogs! I'm not a barker unless it's warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. I get along well with other dogs, especially females, and I absolutely love human attention – I am warm and caring. I'd do well with a strong owner too.

I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I prefer to have my person or people around.
