Porcini

Porcini is a sweet and lovable 12 lb girl who came to us as a stray and, sadly, no one came for her. She does well with other dogs and is very respectful of cats. Porcini has gone on several adventures and has shown how adaptive and easygoing she is, but she hasn't found the forever home she deserves. She is grateful for a home and a comfy bed. Porcini tends to be in her own little world at the shelter, which is why she gets overlooked. She loves head and ear scratches, never barks or cries, and doesn't need long walks, just short breaks to explore grassy areas. Her favorite thing is to sniff and toddle around.

Ideal Home

Porcini would thrive in a quiet home with other nice pets. A home with small children would not be suitable for her.

Ongoing Health

Porcini cannot do stairs.

Training & Support

Porcini goes several hours between potty breaks and is good overnight if she isn't fed after 5 pm and gets a bedtime potty break. She is good in the car and during bath time, including nail clipping and face washing. She is a good eater, liking small kibble, roasted chicken, and cooked ground turkey. While she might never lick your face or wag her tail, you may get appreciation through her happy sleeping snorts and delightful moans and chirping while she eats her food.

Porcini is currently in a foster home in Ramona, CA. Transport can be arranged.
