Jayda

Jayda is a true survivor. After being dumped in Genesee Valley Park, Jayda found her way to us. She has come a long way since, and is now happy to share she's officially accepting applications from her future furever fam! Jayda is sugar, spice, and everything nice. She'll soak up your love, return your sass, and is sure to spice up your life! She loves to play, learn, relax in front of the fireplace, and isn't afraid to lead the pack. Jayda is 50lbs, estimated to be around 3 years old, and a German Shepherd mix (possibly Aussie). She loves exploring the great outdoors with her pack, sniffs, snacks, scritches, and anything that keeps her mind busy. She also enjoys telling you what to do – it's her world, we just live in it! Jayda dislikes chaotic or unpredictable environments, strangers (though she will warm up!), and not getting dinner on time. Jayda is incredibly loyal and perceptive.

Ideal Home

Jayda's furever family doesn't have young children and appreciates her regalness. She thrives with a confident leader and consistent direction.

Ongoing Health

Jayda is spayed, dewormed, and has completed heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Jayda is looking for an adopter who is well-seasoned on herding behavior and basic training. She requires loving guidance, routine, and consistency with reinforcing positive behavior.
