Meet Esme! She's a darling pup weighing about 50 pounds. At approximately one year old, she's past the boisterous young puppy phase but still possesses plenty of playful energy. While we can't say with 100% certainty, at her age and size, she likely won't grow much bigger. Esme is wonderfully affectionate and truly people-oriented, thriving on close companionship. She enjoys playing with other dogs, often showing a more submissive and good-natured demeanor, making her a great doggy playmate. Esme can be nervous around men, so she is looking for a female-only home where she can feel safe and comfortable. She does very well with both dogs and cats, making her a potential great fit for a multi-pet household. Esme is playful, smart, and eager to learn. She settles in quickly when crated at night without much fuss. She has mastered the doggie door at her foster home and communicates when it's time to go outside for potty breaks. As a young dog, she'll continue to do best with a consistent routine, and she's already demonstrating how quick and willing she is to learn. Ongoing Health
Esme's adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (DA2PP and Bordetella), dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, and a heartworm test. The microchip registration information will be transferred to you.
Training & Support
Esme is playful, smart, and eager to learn. She has mastered the doggie door and house-training cues. She walks beautifully on a leash. Continued consistency and positive reinforcement will help her thrive.
