Dopey is a sweet and loving dog who is looking for a forever home. He is a bit of a shy guy at first, but once he warms up to you, he will shower you with affection. Dopey would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play. He is also looking for a home that will be patient and understanding of his special needs. Dopey is a truly special dog who deserves a special home.

Ongoing Health
Dopey has special needs, and potential adopters should be prepared to provide him with the extra care and attention he may require. All dogs adopted through Wags will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative before adoption (age appropriate). All dogs are given monthly flea/tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative (age appropriate), and are dewormed regularly. Dogs adopted through Wags are microchipped.
Training & Support
Dopey is a bit shy at first and may need some time to warm up to new people and environments. Patience and understanding will be key to helping him feel comfortable and secure.

- We do not do same-day adoptions.
- If you live in a rental property, a copy of your lease stating that pets are allowed will be needed.
- If you have had a pet within the last two years, please provide the previous vet's information.
- If you have never owned a pet or it has been over two years, please provide a personal reference.
Transportation
Dopey is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment. Transportation arrangements can be discussed when you contact us through Wags.
