Aries

Meet Aries, a passionate, loving, energetic, and fiercely devoted black lab mix who truly lives up to her name. At nearly 5 years old and just over 50 pounds, Aries is the perfect combination of playful fun and cuddle bug, with a personality that's impossible not to love. She's a certified kissing bandit who firmly believes that personal space is overrated and will happily follow along as your loyal sidekick. Aries loves deeply and isn't shy about showing it, often wanting to snuggle under the covers at bedtime. Aries came from a situation where she was neglected and left outside, never taken on walks and never allowed indoors. Now that she's experienced comfort, companionship, and kindness, it's clear just how much she appreciates it and doesn't take the good life for granted.

Ideal Home

Aries would likely do best as the only pet in the home where she can soak up all the attention for herself. For out-of-state adopters especially, an only-dog home may be the easiest fit since resident dogs won't have the opportunity to meet her beforehand. She would probably do best in a kitty-free home, as she has shown a strong interest in chasing critters. A fenced yard would be a huge bonus so she can safely stretch her legs and enjoy playtime.

Ongoing Health

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.

Training & Support

Aries is house trained, crate trained, knows how to sit, and uses a doggie door like a pro. She enjoys her daily walks and is always up for a good game of fetch and backyard playtime. She's still working on perfecting her leash manners, but she's eager to learn.

Transportation

Aries is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out-of-town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast.
