Alvin

Alvin is a delightful approximately 7-month-old, male Hound mix who weighs about 18 lbs. He arrived with his siblings, Theodore and Simone, with dreams of finding a loving forever family and experiencing all the wonders of the world! Because Alvin and his siblings missed out on early socialization, he can be a bit timid when encountering new places, people, or noises. He's the taller, thinner brother and is quite the social butterfly, eager to initiate play with everyone he meets! Alvin has joined our other rescue friends in the SCI Forest PAWS training program and has already begun to show off his big personality. He might be available to meet for serious inquiries even before his training is complete. Alvin can be a bit timid in new environments, so a patient and understanding home that can help him build confidence would be ideal.

Training & Support

Alvin missed out on early socialization, so he can be timid around new things. He's currently participating in a training program and showing great progress. Continued positive reinforcement and exposure to new experiences in a supportive way will help him thrive.
