Ozzie

Meet Ozzie! This adorable Corgi mix with charmingly bowed legs came to us from a shelter in the Central Valley. Ozzie is a bundle of love and is friendly with everyone, including young children. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and showed no interest in cats during his test. Ozzie loves to follow his people and is already a pro at leash-free walks! He's also crate trained, doggie door trained, and house-trained, making him a well-behaved companion.

Ideal Home

Ozzie has a low to medium energy level, perfect for someone who enjoys quiet companionship. He'll be happy to lounge in the sun while you relax or could even be a wonderful therapy dog, bringing smiles to hospitals and other facilities.

Ongoing Health

Ozzie has a diagnosed liver shunt and is currently on a prescribed liver care diet. He previously experienced a seizure, but since starting his new diet, he has had no further seizures. An ultrasound indicated he is a good candidate for surgery, and the next step would be an MRI. We are fundraising to help cover the costs of his ongoing vet care and are seeking an adopter who is financially prepared to manage his medical needs, including potential surgery.

Training & Support

Ozzie is a well-trained dog who is house-trained, crate-trained, and doggie door trained. His love for his people means he's eager to please and will likely excel with continued positive reinforcement.
