Ann Marie absolutely adores people and gravitates toward human companionship. She has lived with a child and done wonderfully, and her foster says she happily soaks up attention from large groups. She wants to quietly exist alongside her people, occasionally waddling over for kisses and couch cuddles before returning to her nap schedule.

When it comes to other dogs, Ann Marie is more of a thank you, but I already have my people kind of girl. She’s confident and has shown respectful greetings and easy leash manners, but she isn’t particularly interested in doggy friendships or chaotic playgroups. She prefers calm energy and personal space. Ann Marie would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home. However, with the right match, she may also do well with a calm, confident, lower-energy male dog who respects boundaries. If there’s another dog in the home, her team would want a trainer discussion beforehand.

She has also done well around cats, but she would do best with calm, dog-savvy kitties who mostly keep to themselves. A mellow, respectful cat companion would be much more her speed.
