Just like his legendary namesake, this little guy is a survivor who knows how to tackle any challenge with grace and determination! Lionel Messi didn't have the easiest start to life. He was born at a homeless encampment alongside his brave mother and siblings. For the first few months of his life, every single day was a battle just to find food and survive. But everything changed when the amazing team at Perris Strays stepped in. They rescued him, ensured he was protected, and brought him to us for safety. Today, Lionel Messi and his sister, Bellatrix, are thriving in their foster home. They are incredibly lucky to have made it out alive, and Messi is making the absolute most of his second chance at life! Don't let his tough start fool you—Messi is an absolute lovebug and a total gentleman in training. Looking at his expressive, soulful eyes, it's easy to see just how much love and curiosity he has to offer.
Ideal Home
He might be growing into a strong boy, but in his mind, he is 100% a lap dog. He loves nothing more than snuggling up close. He is incredibly friendly, loves meeting new people, and gets along wonderfully with his sister. Got a car? Messi is ready to roll! He absolutely loves riding in the car and takes in every new sight with his signature inquisitive nature. For a puppy his age, he is already walking wonderfully on a leash, showing off just how smart and eager to please he really is. Because Messi has a blend of intelligent, driven working breeds, he is going to grow up to be an active, clever adult dog. We are looking for an adopter who has previous Shepherd experience to help guide his training, keep his sharp mind busy, and give him the structured environment he needs to continue flourishing.

Training & Support
Messi is a total gentleman in training and is already walking wonderfully on a leash. He is a smart and eager-to-please pup who will benefit from continued training and socialization.
