Penny Love is a 1.5-year-old, 70 lb Lab mix with an effortless charm that makes her an instant classic. Penny Love is beautiful, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and has a calm, balanced temperament that makes life with her simple and comfortable. She seamlessly fits into your world and quickly becomes the best part of your everyday routine. From day one in her foster home, Penny has been an absolute dream. Her energy is laid back; she's not constantly on the go but is usually found relaxing nearby. She has that rare "old soul" vibe that makes her feel easy and comforting to be around. While she loves being close to her humans, she's not clingy and is happy to keep you company without being overwhelming.
Ideal Home
Penny Love would do best in a home with a calm, male dog who enjoys company but doesn't require constant play, and who will respect her space. If you don't have other dogs, Penny is also perfectly fine with that. She is happiest surrounded by her favorite people and doesn't need another dog to feel secure. If you have cats, Penny is cat-friendly and would do best with a cat that is aloof and independent, similar to the cats she's currently fostered with. A home with a nice big backyard would be wonderful for her to roam and play, but she also has the potential to thrive in an apartment due to her mellow nature.

Penny Love is believed to be approximately 1.5 years old and weighs 70 lbs. As with any rescue, breed and age cannot be guaranteed. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Training & Support
Penny Love loves treats and is learning basic commands like "sit." She is potty trained and is gradually becoming more comfortable with crate training. She enjoys casual strolls and is a great snuggle buddy. She is a homebody who enjoys peace and comfort but is also happy to go on mini-adventures with you. She has wonderful house manners and is respectful in the home.

Penny Love is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
