About Bear

Sweet and handsome Bear! This wonderful boy was surrendered to the shelter due to the health of his owner. It is clear he was so loved. He is about 4.5 years old and over 100 pounds. He knows commands: sit, come, heel, and (when he feels like being a good listener) stay. He is good on the leash and LOVES playing ball. Bear is very friendly and is a great family dog. He does best with female dogs and is also fine being the only dog in a home.

Ideal Home

A home where Bear can continue to be a cherished family member and enjoy playing ball. He does best with female dogs or as the only dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Bear is current on flea and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bear knows several commands and is good on the leash. He enjoys playing ball and is a friendly companion.
