Kennebec "Kenny" Potato

Kennebec "Kenny" Potato is a 51-lb husky mix who is a total sweetheart! He especially loves our female staff and visitors, and with a little patience and a slower approach, he'll warm up to men too. Kenny is a huge fan of our Doggie Day Out program and lives for his downtown walks, soaking in all the sights, smells, and especially the snacks. Food is truly his love language, and he's not afraid to show it! You might even catch him dramatically plopping down by a crate, as if to say, "I think I'll stay here!" He's a charming boy who's impossible not to laugh with. Kenny's goofy personality, love for snacks, and classic husky stubbornness make every outing a blast, and it's easy to see why he's such a favorite. He's also house-trained and crate-trained!

Ideal Home

Kenny would love a home where he can enjoy fun outings and plenty of snacks.

Ongoing Health

All our adoptable dogs are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age), dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks, and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Kenny is house-trained and crate-trained.

• Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax.
• Appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter.
• All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
• Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Transporation

Kenny is currently at our shelter. We require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash.
