Meet Remus! This handsome 2-year-old Husky/Dalmatian mix (75% Husky, 25% Dalmatian) with striking blue eyes is searching for his forever family. Born on February 2, 2024, Remus is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and house-trained, making him ready for a lifetime of love and adventure. He's a sweet and affectionate boy, even a bit more cuddly than your average Husky, and truly thrives on companionship. Remus enjoys playing with his dog pals, lounging with a tasty chew, and spending quality time with his people. He's also been a gentle friend to a bearded dragon and has coexisted well with a cat, though he might playfully invite them to join in the fun since he's accustomed to being around smaller dogs.

Ideal Home

Remus would do best in a home with at least one other large, playful canine companion, as he absolutely adores playing with other dogs. A securely fenced yard is a must for him to safely explore and expend his energy. He's great with children and would love a family that can embrace his playful spirit and offer him the companionship he craves.

Ongoing Health

Remus has a sensitive stomach and does best on Zignature Select Cuts with Oats & Millet recipes. He also prefers professional nail trims and may need medication prescribed by a veterinarian to help him stay calm during grooming appointments.

Training & Support

While Remus experiences anxiety with crates and is not crate-trained, he has excellent house manners and can be trusted loose in the home. He doesn't get into trouble when left alone and is a respectful housemate. He isn't the biggest fan of car rides and might vocalize his displeasure, but he'll still happily join you on outings.
