Meet Brooks! This sweet and friendly boy was found by a kind person and brought to us when no owner could be located. After our best efforts to find his family, he's now ready to find his forever home. Brooks is a true lap dog who thrives on attention, affection, and quality time with his family. He gets along well with other dogs and is generally friendly with other pets, though he can sometimes be a bit bossy or try to be intimidating. He can also be a little resource protective with other dogs, but otherwise does well and is currently living harmoniously with three other dogs.
Ideal Home
Brooks would love a home where he can be close to his people and shower them with affection. While he's generally good with other pets, his occasional bossiness and resource guarding with other dogs might mean he'd do best in a home prepared to manage these behaviors or with a more mellow canine companion.

Brooks is current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. His adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and a negative 4DX test.
Training & Support
Brooks can be a little bossy and sometimes resource protective with other dogs. With a little patience and understanding, these behaviors can be managed.

Transporation
Brooks is currently located in Texas. He can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Please note, we cannot transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
