Meet Aspen! This lovely girl is about 1 year old and weighs around 32 lbs. We believe she might be a mix of Cattle Dog and Husky, but it's just a guess! Aspen has been a wonderful mom to her five puppies, and now it's her turn to find her own loving forever home. She's a smart and energetic girl who is still adjusting to home life. When startled, she may initially seek an escape, but she quickly settles down once she realizes she's safe.
Ideal Home
Aspen would do best with an experienced adopter who can provide her with the time and patience she needs to warm up. She's already shown she's great with other dogs and would thrive in a home with another young, playful canine companion who can help boost her confidence. Children aged 7 and up would be suitable, as loud noises and sudden movements can startle her.
Ongoing Health
Aspen is heartworm positive and will require treatment. Canines & Kitties Rescue will cover the cost of her treatment at a participating vet partner. Her treatment is scheduled to begin in February. Aspen will be spayed on January 19th and is up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
Training & Support
As Aspen is shy and timid, she will need a patient adopter. She will need another young, confident, and playful dog in her home to help her build confidence.
