About Comet Good Shepherd

Comet is a 4-month-old German Shepherd pup who is a bit of a quiet observer. He has a handsome black coat, tan paws, and a sweet little white spot on his chest and chin. Comet was rescued from the Galveston shelter and has been in a foster home learning to feel safe and loved. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people or in new environments, preferring to watch and get comfortable at his own pace. Once he trusts you, his gentle, affectionate, and loyal side truly shines, and he enjoys being close to his person. He is kennel trained, sleeps through the night, and is adjusting well to home life with his siblings. Comet is comfortable around adults and other dogs, and he's a fairly quiet pup who only occasionally barks when excited about food, an area he's working on improving. He enjoys a good balance of playtime and rest, making him a calm companion once he's settled.

Ideal Home

Comet will thrive in a home that offers patience, consistency, and a gentle approach. He is a sensitive and reserved pup who needs time to build trust.
