Bentley thrives in a calm, understanding environment where he's given the space to be himself. Once he trusts you, he'll enjoy cuddles and even show off his adorable zoomies! He's not a fan of chaos, but he is ready for love from someone who understands how to earn a dog's trust. Bentley would be a wonderful companion for a singleton or older adult looking for a loyal, affectionate friend. He would love life in a house or an apartment, provided that lots of treats and snuggles are involved!

A patient, experienced home with someone who understands small dogs and is willing to give him the time, grace, and consistency he needs. He needs a safe space, a gentle touch, and a kind heart. While he enjoys walks, his energy level is more "homebody chic" than "marathon runner." He would be happy with a doggie sibling or as a solo dog soaking up all the love. He has met a cat and is considered cat tolerant, but a kitty sleepover would be best to confirm a good fit.

Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a private Facebook event page for adopters. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
