Mama Crockpot's transformation has been incredible to watch! She came to us after giving birth to six puppies outdoors during single-digit temperatures, carrying the weight of a very difficult start to life. Understandably, she was scared, timid, and unsure of the people around her. But with patience, consistency, and plenty of love, she slowly began to realize she was finally safe.
Today, she's a completely different dog. Crockpot has blossomed into an affectionate, happy girl who loves meeting new people, running around the backyard, and going for neighborhood walks. She does well on leash and enjoys getting out to explore with her people. At around 65 pounds, she still occasionally forgets her size and would happily be a lap dog if given the chance. While she'd benefit from some basic obedience training and more one-on-one attention than our foster homes can provide, she's already proven just how much she can accomplish when given the opportunity. After everything she's overcome, Crockpot is ready for a forever family to call her own.
