Meet Moose, a handsome Great Dane mix who is approximately 2 years young. Moose is neutered, but he will need to get up to date on his vaccinations. He’s had a bit of a rough start to life, and his current owner is hoping to find a patient and understanding home for him.

Moose can be a little hesitant to trust and likes to have his own space, which is understandable given his past. He did have an incident where he bit his previous owner during an altercation. This was situational, and his current owner can discuss his specific triggers with interested adopters. Because of this, his current owner is unsure how he would do with children, and while he enjoys following around the cats in his current home, she isn’t sure how he would do with other cats. Moose gets along wonderfully with other dogs, loves toys, and enjoys going for walks. He knows his basic commands and has never had an accident in the house or gotten into the trash.

Ideal Home

Moose is looking for a patient adopter who can give him the space and understanding he needs to build trust. Due to his past, his current owner is unsure how he would do with children or other cats. He does enjoy the company of other dogs.
