Poppy Lou the Panda Bear Sweetheart

Poppy Lou is an approximately 8-month-old, 35 lb sweetheart with a face that will melt your heart. She's a potential Lab/Pittie mix with floppy ears that are simply irresistible! Poppy Lou is a gentle, affectionate, and sweet puppy who has a way of making everyone fall in love with her. She's not a hyperactive pup, but rather enjoys being close to her people, soaking up affection, and taking life as it comes. Poppy Lou is currently thriving in a foster home with children aged 3-16 and has shown a wonderful, gentle nature with them. She's also dog-friendly and gets along beautifully with her canine foster siblings, engaging in playful wrestling matches now and then, but mostly enjoying their company. While a little shy at first in new situations, her loving personality quickly shines through.

Ideal Home

A home with a backyard where Poppy Lou can continue to explore, play, and grow at her own pace would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Poppy Lou is a healthy puppy. All vetting, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, and flea/tick prevention, has been completed.

Training & Support

Poppy Lou is crate trained, potty trained, and walks fairly well on a leash. She knows how to sit and takes treats gently. Continued practice as she gains confidence will be beneficial.

Transporation

Poppy Lou is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
