Nola

Nola is a loving 37-pound, approximately 2-year-old Coonhound mix with a resilient spirit and a heart full of affection. She is wonderful with dogs, children, men, and women. Nola is very affectionate and thrives on human attention, forming strong bonds with her people and displaying a naturally protective personality. She is also an energetic young dog who loves to play and needs regular exercise and mental stimulation. Nola and her sisters were abandoned as puppies and survived a difficult start, but she is a survivor who doesn't let her past define her. She is searching for a forever home where she will finally know safety, patience, and unconditional love.

Training & Support

Nola can destroy toys when bored or overly excited, so she would do best with an active family that can help channel her energy in positive ways. She is not house trained.

Transporation

Nola is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest.
