Josie is a sweet and loving companion perfect for the whole family! This delightful Staffordshire Terrier mix, estimated to be born around October 26, 2023, and weighing 41 lbs, is your ultimate cuddle buddy. Josie adores playing with her toys, snuggling with her foster siblings, sunbathing, and is especially fond of chicken nuggets! She's already living in a home with children and does wonderfully with them.
Josie has seamlessly integrated into her foster home, proving to be potty trained and a pro on the leash. She already knows commands like "sit" and "stay," and with her treat-motivated nature, she's eager to learn, please, and become a cherished part of your pack. She gets along famously with other dogs, particularly playful ones. Snuggling on the couch for a nap is a favorite pastime, as are long walks. But her absolute favorite activity when she's rested? Car rides! She's a perfect passenger and enjoys them often. Josie was rescued from a county shelter where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, having been a neglect case. She was emaciated and had a tough start, but she's come a long way and is ready for her forever home. She's still working on gaining a little more weight, but she's ready for her happily ever after.

Transporation
Josie is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and is coordinated with third-party ground transport services. Pickup locations for transported dogs may vary and can be across city, county, and/or state lines. You will be able to track your dog's transport via the Life360 app and through Facebook chats.
