Meet JoJo: The Smart, Snuggly Goofball!

JoJo is a sweet, medium-energy 11-month-old female American Bulldog/Pointer mix who has bounced back from a rough start with nothing but love in her heart. She is incredibly resilient, highly intelligent, and ready to find the forever family she truly deserves! She loves to curl up on the big bed at bedtime and even puts her front leg over her foster dog sibling for a proper snuggle session. JoJo is a total goofball who loves toys. If you're too busy to play fetch, she will literally throw the ball for herself to keep the game going. You have to see her ears to believe them – one looks like a velvety chocolate bar, and the other is covered in adorable polka dots! JoJo doesn't know a stranger; she walks beautifully in her harness and is eager to greet every new friend she meets with a wagging tail.

Ideal Home

JoJo loves to run, play, and sunbathe, so she needs a home with a secure, fenced yard (no apartments, please). She is fantastic with other dogs and older children but has a strong preference for a cat-free home. She's going to make an incredible hiking partner (leashed to start!), but she's just as happy to settle in for a nice nap afterward.

Ongoing Health

JoJo is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

JoJo is brilliant. She already knows her basic cues and crate training. She is almost fully house-trained and already goes to the door when she needs to go out. She just needs a patient person to help her cross the finish line with her training!
