Paula

Paula is a 5-year-old, 56 lb female Hound mix who was rescued as a stray. This sweet girl is ready for her forever home and has so much love to give! She enjoys playing with toys, going for long walks, and soaking up the sun. Paula's foster family has worked hard to build her trust, and she's now a total cuddle bug who loves belly rubs and snuggling on the couch. She gets along wonderfully with children and other dogs, but she does tend to chase cats, so a feline-free home is a must. Paula is a very smart girl and would thrive in a home that can provide both physical and mental stimulation. While she loves her foster family and canine siblings, a hound's instincts can sometimes lead them astray on a scent trail. Consistent exercise and obedience training will help her stay focused. Paula is a calm yet lively and affectionate adult dog who deserves a loving family.

Ideal Home

A home with children and other dogs, but no cats. A family that can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation for a smart hound.

Ongoing Health

Paula has received all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), has been spayed, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Paula loves her foster family and doggy siblings but can be tempted by scents. Ongoing exercise and obedience training will be beneficial.

Transporation

Paula is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to her adoptive family. Faith and Hope transports animals to multiple states on the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, and Virginia.
