Bella Mia says hey there! This cute little Chiweenie girl was surrendered by a family with small children because she played a little too rough with the toddler. Her original mom said that she gets excited and can nip when she plays, never biting nor meaning any harm by it. She has never shown any aggression nor nipping toward her foster mom. She’s now enjoying life in a comfortable foster home where there are only other small dogs to play with! She is the alpha dog and she will be in a forever home if there are other pets. She’ll do best in a forever home with either older calm/patient kids like teenagers or no kids at all. She does well with her foster mom and the other pups, although she’s a bit skittish by nature! The change of homes wasn’t easy for her, but she began settling in better after a week. Bella enjoys hanging out in her crate and observing by choice sometimes, and she sleeps there. She responds well to “Bella, go to your room!” looking forward to a tiny milk bone when you’d like her to go to her crate. She enjoys her meals in her crate. She does enjoy snuggling in the big chair with her foster mom and a few other pups, but doing so must be by her choice and not yours unless you merely invite her. She doesn't like to be picked up or carried around, but she responds well to voice commands. She came with a tiny wire crate she will gladly hop in if you say 'go to your room' and you must take her to the vet or on needed car trips in that. She's pretty much pee pad trained and she's not a dog you can take on leash walks.
