Teddy

Teddy is a 9-month-old female German Shepherd mix who is eager to learn and ready to explore the world around her. She’s still a puppy at heart—full of curiosity, energy, and love to give. Teddy previously lived with adults and a teenager but didn’t share a home with other pets. When left alone, Teddy stays in a crate and may whine at first, but she settles once she feels secure. She’s playful, curious, and affectionate once she feels comfortable. Teddy knows "sit," "gentle," "down," and even "jump" (especially if treats are involved!). She loves belly rubs, walks, and sniffing everything in sight. A quirk to note is that Teddy doesn’t like having her paws or mouth touched. She gets excited when meeting new people, but her interactions with other dogs have been unpredictable, and she hasn’t met cats yet.

Teddy would thrive in a home that understands young dogs and can give her structure, patience, and lots of positive guidance.

Teddy is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Teddy knows several commands and is eager to please. She may need continued guidance with her social interactions with other dogs.
