Hi... I'm Rosa, but my foster calls me Sweetie

I'm a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix, and I'm still learning that the world can be kind. I had a hard past, so I can be a little scared and nervous at first... new people, new places, even new dogs can feel overwhelming to me. But I'm trying, little by little, every single day

If you're patient with me and give me time, I promise you'll see my true self. Once I realize I'm safe, I turn into the sweetest, most loving girl. I love giving little kisses, cuddling up in your lap, and just being close to you. I don't need much-just a cozy spot, gentle love, and someone who understands me

I'm a pretty low-energy girl. I'd much rather relax beside you than run around all day. Being held, pampered, and comforted is my favorite thing in the world.

I'm still working on some things like potty training and getting comfortable on a leash. Sometimes when I get really scared, I have little accidents-but I'm learning, and I just need someone patient who will help me feel safe and confident.

My perfect home would be calm and loving, with a small family or even just one person or a couple. I'd do well with gentle, small dog friends or as your one and only. Older kids who understand how to be soft and patient with me would be best. A fenced yard would help me feel safe while I continue to learn and grow.

I know I may take a little extra time and love... but if you give me a chance, I'll give you the sweetest, most gentle heart in return

Adoption FEE: $600, which includes her spay or his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.

Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
