About Moxie Foxie Friend to All
Meet Moxie! This 5-year-old Lab/Pittie mix is a delightful blend of sunshine, playfulness, and pure adoration. Moxie is a true "family girl" with a soft, sweet personality that makes her instantly lovable. She has a way of looking at you like you're the most important person in the world, and then she'll flop onto her back, tail wagging, demanding belly rubs like it's her royal spa appointment. She's a professional at this, often performing dramatic "fainting spells" onto her back with all four paws in the air, showcasing her desire for a good tummy scratch.
Moxie also has a passion for toys, happily carrying them around and squeaking them with infectious, goofy energy. She truly embodies a happy, cartoon-like spirit where everything is exciting and deserves a wag.
Her greatest joy, however, is other dogs! Moxie is a social butterfly with her canine friends. Once she gets over a brief moment of uncertainty, she’s bouncing, playing, and inviting them to join in the fun. She’s a master of playful, submissive wrestling and genuinely wants everyone to be friends. She’s respectful, however, and will politely back off if another dog is too pushy, showing excellent social cues. She currently lives harmoniously with a small, elderly dog and did wonderfully when meeting another small dog during her assessment. While she can be a solo dog, she truly shines with a playful dog companion.
Moxie is also amazing with children, living with a toddler and a 4-month-old baby in her foster home. She’s the quintessential happy family dog, ready to join on walks, snuggle during movie nights, and be at the center of family activities. She's smart, easy to live with, walks wonderfully on leash, is crate trained, treat motivated, and knows commands like "sit" and "lay down." A yard for zoomies and play would be ideal for her.
Ideal Home
Moxie would love a home with a yard where she can play. She would also thrive with another playful dog companion. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Moxie has some skin allergies, making her a special needs dog. She requires a limited ingredient diet and regular vet care to keep her skin comfortable.

Moxie is smart, treat-motivated, and knows basic commands. She is crate trained and walks well on leash.
