Zia

Meet Zia! This sweet girl was rescued in November 2023 when she was just a puppy, found with a broken leg. She was hours away from euthanasia at a local shelter when she was rescued and given a second chance at life. After initial healing, she unfortunately tore her ACL and underwent TPLO surgery. Now, Zia is healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever home!

Zia is approximately 3 years old and weighs just under 50 pounds. Her DNA results show she is a mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Supermutt, Russell-type Terrier, and Rottweiler. She is wonderful with other dogs, especially males or easygoing females, and is also great with kids. Zia is a true people-lover and would thrive in a home where she can be with her humans as much as possible. She's the perfect companion for someone who works from home or is retired, as she'll be your constant shadow and snuggle buddy. She also enjoys walks, taking her time to explore, and loves visiting doggy daycare.

Ideal Home

Zia would do best in a home with her humans, as she truly believes she's a lap dog! She enjoys the company of other dogs, particularly males or easygoing females, and is great with children.

Ongoing Health

Zia has a history of a femur fracture and an ACL tear, for which she had TPLO surgery. She is now healthy and has fully recovered.

Training & Support

Zia is kennel trained and walks well on a leash. She loves car rides!
