Morty Mello is a 6-year-old, 75 lb pittie mix with the gentlest soul and the face of a teddy bear. He's a champion napper and a master of relaxation, embodying the spirit of a cozy throw pillow. Morty's easygoing nature makes him a joy to be around – he's the kind of companion who makes you want to curl up with a good movie and a warm blanket.

Ideal Home

Morty would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe and explore. He's also adaptable enough for apartment living, being quiet in his crate and walking beautifully on leash. He would do best with another calm, large dog who enjoys relaxing rather than boisterous play. A kitty-free home is a must.

Ongoing Health

Morty is a rescue dog, and while we can't guarantee breed or age, he's a healthy boy ready for his forever home.

Training & Support

Morty is house-trained, potty-trained, and walks well on a leash. He's an excellent candidate for a work-from-home companion and would be a low-maintenance, affectionate buddy for leisurely strolls.

Transportation

Morty is located in Texas, but we facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real-time.
