Meet Sweet Potato, lovingly known as Mama. This shy, sensitive girl came from a hoarding case with her three puppies, whom she raised beautifully. Now that her puppies have been adopted, she is ready for a patient forever home of her own.

Mama is learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. She needs a calm, understanding family willing to let her move at her own pace while she builds confidence. A confident, friendly resident dog would be a wonderful companion and role model.

Ideal Home

Mama would do best with adults or older teens age 15 and up. A gentle, patient home with consistency and time to help her blossom is essential.

Ongoing Health

Her adoption includes spay or neuter, a heartworm test, age-appropriate vaccines, rabies vaccination if old enough, age-appropriate deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a registered microchip.

Training & Support

Mama is house-trained and continues to make progress as she learns to trust, play, and enjoy life as a beloved pet.
