Ideal Home

Riley would thrive in a home with no other dogs, and where children are older, if any. He has lived successfully with a cat in the past. He is wary of strangers, particularly men and boys, and can be protective of his family. He has nipped at friends in the past, so a calm environment would be best. Riley also expresses a dislike for fireworks, thunder, the mailman, hawks, and large trucks.

Riley is a healthy boy with no known health issues. He is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Riley is house-trained and crate-trained. He is eager to please, which will be a great asset in his new home. Given his reservations about strangers, continued positive reinforcement and socialization will be beneficial.
