About Captain

Hi there! I'm Captain, a playful young German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love to give. While I cherish my time with my temporary AAWL family, I'm dreaming of a forever home where I can truly belong. I'm a "weekend athlete" who would love to join you for lots of playtime and frequent walks to burn off my energy. I can be a little reserved when meeting new dog friends, and I have no known experience with cats. Due to some timidity, I'm looking for a home without young children, but I'd do great with kids in elementary school and up!

Ideal Home

Captain would thrive in a home with plenty of opportunities for playtime and daily walks. He is not recommended for homes with children under elementary school age due to his timidity.

Ongoing Health

Captain has been neutered.

Training & Support

Captain can be a little reserved when meeting other dogs, so introductions should be done slowly and carefully.
