Bullseye is a charming 6.5-month-old male Retriever/Pit Bull mix, weighing around 40 pounds and expected to be a large dog when fully grown. He's a quiet observer with a gentle and thoughtful nature, preferring to take in his surroundings before diving into playtime. Bullseye loves cuddles, belly rubs, and snuggling up with his favorite people. He's a loyal companion with a soft heart and an easygoing personality, making him a perfect match for those seeking a calm and affectionate best friend. While he enjoys romping with his siblings, he's also content to relax and soak up affection. He is potty trained, though a few accidents might occur as he adjusts to a new home.
Ideal Home
Bullseye would thrive in a home where he can continue to learn and grow with a family committed to positive reinforcement and consistency. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well with children. Homes with another friendly, well-mannered dog are preferred to help mentor him, but a plan for continued socialization and structured training is also welcome. Ideally, someone should be home for most of the day, as he benefits from regular interaction and potty breaks.
Ongoing Health
Bullseye is a young, growing dog and is up-to-date on vaccinations and preventative care.
Training & Support
Bullseye is still an adolescent and is continuing to build confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. Ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice will help him thrive. He will benefit from continued socialization to build lifelong confidence.
