Barney Delight is a happy, 2-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix who weighs about 45 lbs. He's a certified good boy with an easygoing, go-with-the-flow personality that makes him instantly lovable. Barney's favorite things include being close to his people, a good wiggle butt, playing with toys, and joining in on daily adventures. He's affectionate, mellow without being boring, and brings warmth to everyday life. Barney is house-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and knows basic commands like "sit" and "shake." He's a perfect companion for those who enjoy adventures and for those looking for a snuggly friend at the end of the day, offering the best of both worlds.
Ideal Home
Barney would love a home with a nice, big backyard for him to roam and relax in the sun. He is dog-friendly and would do well with another dog that enjoys playing and also appreciates quieter moments. However, he doesn't need another dog to feel comfortable and can be just as happy as a solo pup, focusing all his affection on his people.
Ongoing Health
Barney is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, and a heartworm test and treatment if needed.

Transporation
Barney is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA-certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
