Spot

Meet Spot! This big hunk was recovered as a stray on March 23rd, 2025, after being tracked for two weeks. Spot covered an incredible amount of miles each day and would pop up in locations far from previous reported sightings. Upon his recovery, it was documented that he had actually been on the run for approximately 4 months, braving all the winter elements and surviving. He was very thin but is now on his way to a much healthier body size and is ready for adoption! His behavior and loving personality are incredible. He gets along well with all his 5 foster sisters, even the Chihuahua. He loves cats that don't run from him. If you run, it's on! He is an amazing snuggler and loves to hold hands!

Ideal Home

Spot would do best in a home with adults and teenagers due to his size and puppy behaviors. He would not do well with free-range chickens or animals that will run from him. He will also need someone physically able to restrain him on a leash and control his prey drive. He will need a fenced yard.

Ongoing Health

Spot is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and flea and tick treated.

Training & Support

Spot is house-broken and knows some basic commands. He can be stubborn at times and will need someone to be his alpha. He loves car rides and enters his kennel perfectly.
