About Greta

Greta is a sweet and gentle Labrador Mix girl, approximately 7 years old and weighing around 66 lbs. She has a loving heart and is house-trained, even designating a specific spot for her business. Greta is also crate-trained, making her a well-mannered companion. When she first meets new people, Greta can be a bit shy and fearful, needing patience and kindness to feel comfortable. However, once she gains confidence, her super friendly personality truly blossoms. She adores having her head petted and will often offer her paw as a sweet thank-you. Greta is an active dog who enjoys running and moving around, and she would thrive in a calm and peaceful home with a family who understands her need for both gentle reassurance and regular exercise.

Ideal Home

A calm and peaceful home with a fenced backyard. An active family that enjoys outdoor activities and has experience with dog behavior and training, or is willing to hire a trainer. Families with high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies.

Ongoing Health

Greta has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, is dewormed, and microchipped. She has also tested negative for heartworm and 4DX, and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. A health certificate and vaccine booklet are provided.

Training & Support

Greta is house-trained and crate-trained. However, the listing emphasizes that rescued dogs may not be house-trained and require patience and understanding during their adjustment period. Families should be prepared to provide a safe and loving environment and establish a routine.
