Run, don't walk, because Onyx Baby won't be available long! He's a 7-month-old, 33lb bundle of sweetness with an adorable "forever puppy dog face," soul-stirring eyes, and perfect floppy ears. Onyx Baby is a rescue, so while we believe he's a pittie mix, we can't guarantee breed or age. He's already proven to be incredibly dog-friendly, thriving in a multi-dog foster home with all types of canine personalities. He matches the energy of other dogs, happy to play when invited or simply relax nearby. His foster believes he'd be happiest with a canine sibling. Onyx also met the resident cat, Biggie, with great respect and curiosity, and we can arrange a sleepover to test this further! He's a smart boy, eager to please, and already knows "sit," taking treats gently. He's crate-trained and mostly potty-trained, with occasional accidents if left alone for extended periods.
Ideal Home
Onyx Baby would thrive in a home with a backyard for romping and playing, but he's also perfectly content being a couch potato for movie marathons. We haven't seen him around children yet, but we're happy to arrange a test to see how he does. Based on his sweet nature, we believe he'd make a wonderful family dog.
Ongoing Health
Onyx Baby is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, deworming, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has also been heartworm tested and treated if necessary. He is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Onyx is already a well-behaved boy with great house manners. He's eager to please and intelligent, making him a joy to train further. He is crate trained and working on his potty training, doing well for the most part.

Onyx Baby is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
